The base holds the table in place but I cant tell if the controls function at all or not. The crank lever that should lift the table just spins freely and does not lift. During transport, the base tilted over and leaked a lot of hydraulic fluid but Im not sure if re-filling with fluid will get it back in action or not. The table top appears to be porcelain-coated steel with an iron armature underneath which bolts to the extremely heavy cast iron base which houses the hydraulics. There is a lip on one end of the table where the drain is located.
The top measures 80 long x 28 wide x 3 high. Assembled height is 29 1/2 plus the lip. Base footprint is 26 x 22 x 28. Base has rolling casters underneath. It can be loaded in two pieces by two people onto your vehicle. I will be available to help load if necessary but you must be able to help lift a very heavy base. Ask any questions you may have.
