Vintage Art Deco Bulova Watch Original Box Looks Mint Doesn't Run. A very elegant ladies watch dating from the 1930's, set with 2 tiny diamonds.
It is in beautiful cosmetic condition but does not run. The elongated rectangular case is gold filled adorned with two white gold triangles, one at each side, where the diamonds are set. It measures 30.5mm long lug to lug and is 10mm wide not including the crown. The band is a fancy link chain bracelet in yellow gold filled. The bracelet band is adjustable at the clasp.The longest I can easily make it is 6 3/4. I've attached photos for you to see. Both watch case and the bracelet band are gold-filled, they are each marked independently. The condition is so good they look just like solid gold.
The watch doesn't run, it was very well cared for but not serviced. Her mother received it as a gift sometime between 1930 and 1935.
It has been kept in its original box and is all original. The movement reads 7 Jewels, Bulova Watch Co, Unadjusted, cal 3AN. It looks very clean but does not run. The box is in excellent condition.
