Vintage Homer Laughlin Harlequin MEDIUM GREEN pitcher jug VERY RARE

Medium Green Glaze - 1950's. This is a really beautiful piece and is extremely rare in the Medium Green glaze. It therefore commands a much higher price than the same 22 oz pitcher/milk jug in other colors. It is in Excellent Condition. There are no cracks, chips, repairs, touch ups, crazing, flea bites/glaze pops, glaze skips, utensil marks or damage of any kind.

This vintage jug/pitcher is just one example of the many types of pitchers/jugs that were produced by the Homer Laughlin Company. This piece is known as the 22 ounce jug.

It is one of the most beautiful in design and color of all the pitchers in the Harlequin or Fiesta lines. It is a superb example of the Art Deco style.

The dimensions are 5" Tall by 6 1/2" wide when you include the distinctive angular handle. Finding one of these, especially in the Medium Green glaze, is truly difficult and is a great addition to any Harlequin or Fiesta collection.

In the interest of full disclosure: (1) Photo #10. There is a very small glaze covered sand grain just under the rim on the inside of the pitcher. Photo #9 - there are a few glaze covered sand grains on the bottom of the inside. These are manufacturing "flaws" and are very common in the Homer Laughlin pottery lines. I have discounted the price due to these flaws since they prevent the piece from being classified as MINT.
