Vintage Silvray Art Deco Pendant Ceiling Light Atomic MCM Style Fixture

Price is for a single light fixture. These amazing light fixtures by Silvray Lighting were salvaged from the Kansas City Power and Light building that was built in the art deco era of the 1930's. They have been completely restored to look brand new, yet still 80 years old. The thick, off-white shades seem to be made from the'plastic' of the day in the 1930s, either polyethylene or vinyl.

Photo #3 shows the shade has a minor crack on the right side. Every shade has some form of this for some reason but as you can see it doesn't look bad. I've lowered the price accordingly. These lights were made to handle high wattage bulbs, so the mogul sized sockets are rated for 600 watts max. They come cleaned and rewired and include a socket reducer so you can use a standard medium base bulb.

Style-wise, they were designed specifically for bulbs with the chrome reflective material (see last photo, bulb not included). These'dipped' or'chrome dipped' style bulbs are readily available at any big-box store in both incandescent or LED versions. These Silvray lights are extremely rare, high end vintage lights that I've taken great care in restoring. I can also finish them in aged copper.

The last 3 lights that sell from this lot will have a slightly shorter drop height of 24 Drop heights can be shorted upon request, however they cannot be lengthened.
