VTG Historic Chrysler Building Era Skyscraper Deco Chandelier c. 1930 RESTORED

This historic skyscraper deco lighting fixture is unique and exceptional and would certainly would have been at home in the Chrysler Building. It is of the highest quality and is made of of interlocking cast brass/bronze and red brass/copper components. It is quite substantial, weighing in at around 14 pounds.

This example does not have any maker marks but the prior chandlier of the same model had a makers mark for " ISCO" and the number " 42000" are present, along with pending patent indicators. Unfortunately, internet and patent searches for this maker have yielded no information.

More attractive today than ever, this fixture will certainly draw envious compliments. This fixture has been restored and refurbished and is ready for contemporary installation. Vertical components have been professionally chrome plated to contrast with the cast copper/red brass horizontal elements.

This accentuates the extreme juxtaposition of its components. All bulb sockets and wiring have been refurbished with new.

14 of heavy gauge chain nickel plated chain links is attached at the top (can be shortened upon request). The original canopy escutcheon has been matched with a period skyscraper canopy. Vintage screw collar loop, threaded pipe and heavy duty cross brace are included to assist with your installation.

This fixture accepts 5 medium Edison base light bulbs (not included) Approximate dimensions are as follows: Height: 22-1/2 Diameter : 19" Canopy: 5-1/4' Diameter X 3" High Total Drop (from ceiling to bottom of finial): 41-1/2 NOTE: A small broken tab on one chrome arm ornament has been reattached and finished with liquid chrome. While note apparent, I would prefer to err on the critical side in my descriptions. The final photo here provides a close view of the repaired ornament and an undamaged on on another arm.
